Yosemite National Park, California - 2004
Our second vacation this year was to
Yosemite
National Park, a place which, believe it or not, I'd never seen before.
(I know, I know... it was always one of those 'When we have time' kinds
of things. Finally, we decided to make the time.)
On this outing, all the photos were taken using
our new Canon D10 digital SLR. Following are a dozen of the best
shots.
The weather wasn't exactly cooperative.
Being mid-August, the falls were all but completely dry. Moreover,
the light usually wasn't ideal. On the other hand, the views from
Glacier Point were something else, and what's more can't be seen for
roughly half the year due to road closures during the winter season.
Click on the thumbnails to see the photos; all are roughly 300-400kb
in size for the download.
As with the other photos, if you're looking at these and see any you
like, and would be interested in seeing the full-resolution versions,
send me email.
