Monterey Bay Aquarium, February 2005
Finally, after much procrastination, many excuses, and more than a
few exceedingly lame and embarrassed "We just haven't had the time to
get around to it" excuses...well, we finally did
get around to it. That is, get around to visiting the Monterey Bay
Aquarium (we made this part of a longer trip south to visit Big Sur at
the same time).
Photography in the aquarium is difficult, because light levels are so
low, you simply have to push the ISO setting super high, so as to keep
shutter speeds and aperture settings reasonable. This results in a
degree of graininess in the pictures.
Still, the Canon 10D is a nice camera and did rather well. As
always, click on the thumbnails to see the full-sized photos; picture
sizes vary from 50k to 207k.
