Last night, I (along with my partner and several friends) made the trek to San Francisco, to hear this Kaleshwar gentleman speak. It was an event held at the First Unitarian Church on Geary St, featuring music performed by the Mystic Jamms Band (which includes several of our closest friends), some talk about healing and Vaastu (think Indian-version Feng Shui), and a group meditation.
Kaleshwar himself seems rather unassuming and modest, yet I got the sense he knows things. (On the other hand, his English is only passable and it was often very difficult to understand what he was saying. For a church, the acoustics in there were pretty bad.) At this point, I’m pretty sure his precise path and teachings aren’t quite for me. If I had to summarize it, I’d say that it’s a “five-elements” approach, incorporating Vedic-style Sanskrit mantras, and a pantheon that combines Hinduism with Christianity. The fact it acknowledges the form and function of the five elements (earth, fire, water, air, and sky or spirit) helps make it comfortable for my Wiccan inclinations.
On the other hand, while I’ve found enjoyment and comfort (as well as a fair amount of turmoil, bringing up buried stuff) from the mantras, it’s also become clear that for me I can do only so much. There are some parts of these teachings that resonate for me, and others which don’t make sense.
But on the whole, the message is a positive one and oriented towards healing in all its manifest forms — personal, family, community and planet — and that alone recommends it.

I had asked some questions to kaleshwar swami which I had not got any reply. I just received an answer stating from ms. Anni or some secretary that Swamiji would reply to my answer.
It is now 3 years and till date I am waiting for the answer.
Let me see whether kaleshwar remembers my question and can he answer my question.
Thanks I remain and Awaiting for your prompt action.

I am not a representative of Swami, so I cannot speak for him or for the ashram. I am but a student, a peanut, as it were. My ‘action’ consists only of advice for you.
Sometimes things get lost. Sometimes Swami wants a person to chew on questions so as to find one’s own answers. Sometimes he may simply choose not to answer, for you simply can’t command on one such as he.
I would simply ask again. What can it hurt?
Also, do know that a form letter email isn’t necessarily a promise to provide an answer in the form you expect. It is possible that Silence is also an answer.
